Aotearoa NZ Worlds Qualifying Event
Please note - this qualifying event no longer requires Vaccine passes and is no longer restricted by numbers. W1 day schedule has been updated - please ensure you familiarise yourself with this change as your race times may have changed. Due to the large amounts of changes, the W1 Lane draw will be confirmed later in the week. The deadline for adding and withdrawing paddlers from the event is the 5th of April

Update regarding Elite Paddler Intent process for IVF World Elite Championship
Due to the change in travel advisory and information from the IVF this week advising that vaccination will not be required to attend the World Sprints in Windsor, UK. Waka Ama NZ will be opening an opportunity for paddlers who are unvaccinated who wish to be considered for an Elite Team to put in an intent. Please read the following information.

CANCELLED: Oamaru Harbour Regatta
"It is with regret that Waitaha PC cancels the Oamaru Harbour Event scheduled for the 8th and 9th of April 2022. This decision is based on a number of safety points that became obvious after a test run over the proposed courses and an unwillingness to put potential competitors and volunteers at risk. A big thanks to Tara from WANZ and Kevin from Oamaru Yacht and Powerboat Club who made the planning process to this point so much easier."
