The ruddered and rudderless races at the October trials must be in a Surfrigger. Each paddler must make arrangements for a Surfrigger to paddle in.

All men who have qualified for the October trials who did not attend the recent camp at Lake Rotoiti will be required to time trial in a ruddered Surfrigger on the Saturday of the trials.
